We were challenged to develop a stool that should come from CNC cuts of 18mm plywood and assembled without glue, screws or nails. And the stool should not be bigger than 400x400x400mm.

Taking advantage of the precision and capacities of CNC fabrication, I wanted to develop a stool full of complex shapes generating a serial of concentric circles that appear to be floating. For the legs I wanted to contrast the lightness of the concentrical circles, so I make them very chunky and orthogonal looking.
